My
name is Robert. I was brought up a high church Anglican. I left
Northumberland to go to college and left church behind. A number
of years later I met and married Helen, who introduced me to a
Baptist church. After I had seen a film at church I gave my life
to Jesus whilst out walking the dog! This was the best decision of
my life, from knowing about Jesus I came to know Him personally.
Things haven't always been easy, but God has helped me through
every problem. Three years ago in a prophecy God told me to
"birth" Holme Christian Fellowship - with the outcome
you are looking at now. Together we are moving on with the vision
that God has given us. We don't always understand what God tells
us to do, but know that He wants us to believe in Him and to trust
Him.

My
name is Jackie. I became a Christian in 1985. Some people
think that it is the weak, the disadvantaged, the drug addicts or
alcoholics who need God to change their lives. I was an ordinary,
fairly happy young woman living a decent life but the message of
the bible was just as relevant and necessary to me.
Committing my life to Christ gave it a whole new meaning and
purpose and in the 21 years since that decision, though there have
been difficulties at times, I have known peace and absolute
security in the love of God. I have never regretted it.

My
name is Chris. My wife Sandra and I moved to Holme upon Spalding
Moor in 2006 and we are really happy to be here. We found such a warm welcome at
Holme Christian Fellowship and such a desire to meet with God that
we decided to join the church. I have been a Christian for over 40
years. It was absolutely the best decision I ever made!
Through the many ups and downs of this life I have known the love
of God touching me and encouraging me. If you do not know Jesus
he's just a prayer away!

My
name is Helen and I was brought up in a Baptist church and gave my
life to Jesus when I was 19 years old. I was very busy working
within the church and attending meetings, leading Sunday school
and Girl's Brigade, but still felt that I was missing something.
It was not until may years later, after I had met and married
Robert, moved to Holme, and started our family, that I was
introduced to the person of the Holy Spirit and realised that He
was that something that was missing! Looking back there have
been several significant milestones where God has given us
particular strength and direction, not the least when we were
involved in a road traffic accident and our middle son was killed.
God is good, He is faithful, and I strongly recommend everyone to
get to know Him!
